Gary Fitch has helped me with several claims over the last several years.  He has always been extremely helpful and always provides whatever I need assistance with very promptly, usually on the same day.  There was a mix-up with my critical illness policy in 2020 and my original claim was denied when I got diagnosed with breast cancer.  I called Gary and he figured out the problem and worked with me and several others to get their problems remedied.  If it wasn’t for him, during one of the worst seasons of my life, it probably would have been way harder on me and my family than it was. It was such a blessing to be able to get all the care I needed and be able to go to one of the top medical places in the US for a second opinion and never have to worry about money.  Gary provides top top-notch customer service, and I am thankful that he is who I work with when I have a claim question. 

My name is Jeff Silvey. I have worked at ModernLitho for 25 years. In May of this year. I was unable to work because I was diagnosed with Charcot Neuropathy. Iwas unable to walk on my left Foot.

I was signed up for short term disability through Assurity. Christina and Rachelle were wonderful. I was in a bad way. I woke up one morning and could not walk. I was in the Hospital in Jefferson City fora week and then 10 days and they were not able to figure out what was wrong at first. I had worked all my life and was not familiar with short term disability or how it worked. They were very patient and helpful with me. At the time the last thing I needed was to worry about paying my bills. Assurity, Christina and Rachelle came through for me. If I called with a question or had to ieave a message Rachelle always called back in a timely manner.

Through this whole ordeal I have told the people I work with that they need to sign up for this.

The reason why we switched from our broker to WSI was due to communication issues and the lack of response to the requests or needs of our employees.
